If you are an attorney living in St. Louis County, you have been placed on a list of private attorneys who will be appointed to handle cases from the Public Defender's office in an effort to reduce backlogs and wait times for adjudication. Join us for an informational session highlighting the need for the initiative, its implementation, and what you need to know before a case is appointed to you. Presenters will include Judge Kris Kerr, as well as representatives from the St. Louis County Public Defender's Office and the St. Louis County Prosecutor's Office. Click here to read more about the plan.
The CLE will be held at 3:30 PM on Tuesday, February 25th in the ceremonial courtroom (Room S01) at the St. Louis County Courthouse (21st Circuit, 105 S. Central Avenue, Clayton).
A reception will immediately follow the CLE session at CJ Mugg's Clayton location (200 S. Central Avenue). Application has been made for CLE credit hours. The session is free for WLA members and $25 for non-members.
