WLA Mission Statement

 

The mission of the Women Lawyers’ Association of Greater St. Louis is to:

  • Promote and assist women to obtain positions of influence and leadership within their workplace, the legal profession, the judiciary, and the community;
  • Raise awareness of and fight biases against women within the community at large, the legal profession, and under the law;
  • Promote and effect diversity, equality, and justice under the law and within the legal system;
  • Support women lawyers in their personal and professional lives;
  • Provide opportunities for volunteerism and advocacy on issues affecting women; and
  • Collaborate with other individuals and organizations to improve the status of women.

May Mentorship Luncheon | Thursday, May 20, 2021 | 12:00 Noon - 1:15 PM

Please join the WLA for its May Mentorship Luncheon on Thursday May 20, 2021.  The WLA will give priority in registration for this luncheon to its target audience, WLA members who are 36 and under or have been practicing five years or less.  The WLA, in partnership with its Membership/Mentorship Sponsor, Dowd Bennett LLP, will host the meeting on Dowd Bennett’s Zoom account and ensure that attendees receive a $15 gift certificate for food delivery in advance.  The guest speakers will be Keya Koul, Counsel in Business & Legal Affairs at Netflix and Mey Ly Ortiz, Managing Counsel in Labor & Employment at Toyota Motor North America.  Register here.
