Terms and Conditions
The WLA is the copyright owner of this site and no portion of this site, including but not limited to text, images, audio or video, may be used in any manner, or for any purpose, without WLA’s express written permission.
Do not post on this site or transmit to this site, any obscene, profane, defamatory, libelous, threatening, unlawful or other material which could constitute or encourage conduct that would be considered a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability, promote the excessive or irresponsible consumption of alcohol, or otherwise violate any law or regulation. The WLA does not assume any responsibility or liability that may arise from the content thereof.
Because the WLA offers non-tangible memberships and attendance at events, we have a no refunds policy. Memberships cannot be substituted. Substitutions will be permitted for events, however, with appropriate notification of the change to firstname.lastname@example.org. Confirmation will be sent upon receipt of a request and approval for a substitution. As a patron and/or member, you are responsible for understanding this refund policy upon purchasing any membership or event admission on our website.
Registration for either a membership or attendance at an event is not complete until full payment has been received. A processing fee of $25 will be charged for insufficient funds or returned checks and the registration will be cancelled automatically until a negotiable instrument (acceptable form of payment such as money order or cashier’s check) is received.
The choice of a lawyer is an important decision and should not be based solely upon advertisements.
This policy covers how we use our personal and business information. We take your privacy seriously and will take all measures to protect your personal and business information. Any personal or business information received will only be used to fill your order. We will take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure the information is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed. We will not sell or redistribute your personal or business information to anyone.
WLA, together with other regional Bar Associations, invites you to an upcoming CLE designed to help you develop effective tools to balance the high demands of the legal profession with your own mental health and well-being.
Proceeds from the event’s registration fees will be donated to the Missouri Lawyers’ Assistance Program (MOLAP). As a co-sponsor, WLA has made a donation to MOLAP on behalf of its members.
See below for additional program details, available CLE credits and registration information. A downloadable copy of the event flyer is available here.
